About the Role
Come join our amazing team in Albany, Auckland.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Reactive Controller (Dispatcher) position. In this role, you will play a part in dispatching electricity fault jobs, billing, and support operations to meet Omexom client expectations.
The successful candidate will work on key responsibilities such as:
Efficiently dispatch all electricity requests received from Omexom clients to fault responders.
Quality control of data and reporting to client requirements.
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with fault responders, line crews, supervisors, and clients.
Monitoring and controlling fault response times to ensure optimal performance and productivity are achieved.
Focusing on the customer and communicating fault restoration progress and other relevant information where appropriate. Maintain a high standard of service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor the compliance of electronic mobility use.
Updating of rosters, as required.
Providing initial Level 1 IT support to field staff to enable the continuous use of electronic tablets. Escalate L2 IT or field mobility issues to support the team.
Providing over-the-phone diagnostic checks with field staff to minimise electronic downtime.
Assist in implementing strategies for continuous process improvement.
Supporting other functional areas within Reactive Services and other business units within Omexom.
About you
To be considered, you will have:
A school leaving certificate is required with basic numeracy and sound written and oral English language skills.
Electricity or utility industry experience
Proven experience in a dispatch or call centre, preferably in a high transactional environment
Customer service experience
Computer literacy
Organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving ability
Flexibility to work in shifts.
