Office Support Coordinator (Part-time) [New Zealand]

We have an exciting new opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre on a part-time basis (8am - 2pm) as an Office Support Coordinator.

As part of our People team, you will provide an outstanding front of house people experience to our key stakeholders and guests that reflects our values and ‘We’re Family’ ambition. You will also be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of high quality administrative and support systems, enhancing the overall efficiency of the Mitre 10 Support Centre.

Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, your key functions will include:

  • Greet team members and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the reception area.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs or inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Support the People team with engagement initiatives and support centre events. Bring to life our people experience ambition of We’re Family in everything we do.
  • Coordinate the HSW management processes for external contractors.
  • Proactively ensure that the Support Centre facilities runs smoothly.

Your experience will include;


  • Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role.
  • Good understanding of H&S safety compliance and contractor management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to build effective, positive working relationships with people at all levels
  • Effective prioritising and multitasking ability
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
