Medical Science Liaison, MSL [Sweden]


 

On behalf of a pharmaceutical company, world leading in Nephrology, Iron Deficiency and Cardio-Renal we are recruiting a Medical Science Liaison, MSL, to cover Stockholm and the northern part of Sweden.

They strives to help patients around the world with severe, chronic and rare diseases live better, healthier lives. It specializes in strategic global partnering, in-licensing and developing, manufacturing and marketing pharmaceutical products for precision patient care.

In this role you will mainly be dedicated to the company’s nephrology product portfolio (including rare diseases) with launch activities. You will report to the Head of Medical and Medical Excellence, Nordics.


Main responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise (TAs and products).
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, HCPs and professional organisations.
  • KOL engagement, key account medical support, trainings and other appropriate activities, internally/externally.
  • Facilitate scientific engagement, scientific exchange and medical information.
  • Provide Disease State Education, clinical presentations and respond to medical requests.
  • Update medical team and other internal stakeholders on medical community interactions.
  • Provide medical support for patient and formulary access products.
  • Support the development, implementation and completion of medical activities e.g. advisory boards, congress symposia etc.
  • Support company-sponsored clinical research and IIS process.
  • Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local and global laws, regulations, guidelines and company policies and procedures.


Requirements

  • Master's Degree: MD, Pharmacist or Natural Science University Degree with at least 3 years in research, clinical practice or medical affairs
  • Demonstrated experience in KOL, HCP or medical community engagement.
  • Experience in public scientific presentations.
  • Ability for overnight travel, up to 50%.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
